The municipality is bordered to the east by Lonato Lido and Moniga del Garda, while to the west is Calvagese, home to a world-renowned golf club. The town has more than 5,000 residents, but in the summer season it can reach as many as 10,000.<\/p><p>Precisely for this reason, major public and private services can be found in the municipality of Padenghe and surrounding towns. In addition, from the castle, an ancient stronghold dating back to the 12th century that stands at the highest part of the municipality, visitors can enjoy a splendid view of the lake and its surroundings. Vineyards and olive groves are, in fact, the most widespread crops in the Valtenesi farmland of which the village is a part. Nature lovers can go on a variety of wonderful hikes, on foot or by mountain bike, and enjoy beautiful sunsets by the lake.<\/p><p>Padenghe is easily accessible by car and train.<\/p><p>By car, driving along the Valtenesi provincial road.
